    Oh no!

    Briley, once we just had a HOT battery—my son could feel the heat through the pump casing. They said the same thing–take it off! Yours looks truly dangerous.

    Good luck with your MDI? Or maybe you have a spare oldie, since you’ve been at this for so long.

    Wow!!!!! Hearing that must have been really scary!!!! R u back to MDI or do you have a spare, still working, old pump that u can use til u get a replacement??

      I was on Lantus for a day or two, and they shipped me a new pump. I’m back on the new pump and loving it as always.

    Yikes! I thought that only happens to old batteries left in neglected devices. I guess not…

    Holy smokes! Glad you’re back in business with a new pump now, but I can only imagine how upsetting that must have been!
