You pack for the beach way lighter than I do! 🙂 Hopefully you brought some kind of cooler as well to put everything in? I had lots of insulin go skunky on me last weekend at the beach, even thought I thought I was being careful about not letting it get too hot
Yes, I think there were 3 coolers? Plus an umbrella for the little kiddos. I actually took out some of the insulin bottle and put it in another in case it did get skunked. But I thought that if something happened to my site, it would be easier to take a shot than try to put in a new one. Also, there was a lot more (including lots of sugar), but this was my medically focused bag, so that’s what I took a picture of.
My family and I just went to the pool yesterday, and I swear I threw out my back carrying the bag with all our supplies in it. It is quite a task to do any kind of water activities with diabetes! But when we do, we rock it! 🙂
