Diaversary

June 28, 2012

My diabetes is getting excited.  It’s its last week as a 22 year old.  And oh how it loves to party and live like this song.  Oh how it likes to misbehave.  It’s like it knows that that day is the day to be recognized and wants ALL the recognition.  No matter how many cupcakes or fruit or fireworks or friends or family.  But I think it’s noticed a pattern, it’s the same one I’ve noticed.  There are so many fabulous people in my life, and yet somehow they don’t realize that it’s my most important day of the year.  Maybe if you guys could give it a little recognition this year it will behave for me?  Give it a try?!

what – all the firework celebrations, parades are not for you? Well, for us, you are the reason to celebrate.

Happy early diaversary! Just tell your pancreas that the fireworks are in its honor (that grammar is weird) 🙂

I'd love to hear what you think about my blog thoughts!
