Too High
This week has been hell on blood sugars. Don’t believe me? Head on over to twitter or just read my letter to Joslin:
Hello,
I was seeing Awesome D nurse, and I’m scheduled to see New Dr in October (originally scheduled for this week), and now I’m struggling to get any blood sugars under 200. I don’t know who can help me, but I need help fast! I am including my basals, and everything else I think is needed. In the past 4 days, my TDD have gone up by 15-20 units.
Basals:
00:00 1.200
04:00 0.900
09:00 1.100
12:00 0.800
From 09:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 18:00 on Wednesday, my basals were at 130%.
Insulin:Carb Ratio
00:00 1U: 7G
06:00 1U: 6G
08:30 1U: 7G
11:00 1U: 9G
13:00 1U: 7G
On Wednesday morning, I did a basal test, where I stayed in range, and steadily as well. So I lessened all my Ratios from 06:00 – 11:00 by 1G.
Insulin Sensitivity
1U: 35mg/dL

I know that it is Friday morning, but if I could get a response from someone today, it will be greatly appreciated. I would like to start to work on this before the weekend.
Thank you,
